Transportation and Mobility

1. Electric Shuttles
  • Description: Replacing the Pitt shuttles currently powered by gasoline and/or biodiesel with electric shuttles would reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

2. Electric Grounds Equipment
  • Description: Replacing grounds equipment such as lawnmowers and golf carts currently powered by gasoline with electric ones would reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

3. Increased Awareness of No Idling Policy
  • Description: Displaying anti-idling signage outside of residence halls and loading zones for cars would decrease emissions and reduce pollution.
