Adopt a block Competition (South Oakland)
  • Description: Different student clubs/organizations “adopt” a block of South O as a cleanup project. This will mostly focus on cleaning up trash from the sidewalks and roads. Several times a semester competitions will be hosted and a prize will be rewarded to the team with the cleanest block.

  • Contact Information/References: Unsure. We will need to find someone/a group to act as the judges for the competition. Green Fund could possibly cover prize and provide cleanup materials if needed.
